Story of Jack Bartholemew

Mr. Bartholemew, a Navy Veteran who was injured in service and became wheel chair bound and subsequently homeless. Fortunately, he attended the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) organized Community Outreach Standdown. There, Mr. Bartholemew got all the medical attention he needed. The VAPAHCS staff helped him find housing and were able to get him situated in a studio apartment in a Salvation Army building. In the video, Mr. Bartholemew shares with is his struggles as a homeless person and how he was able to find the help and support he needed through the VAPAHCS.
